台灣長期照顧設施的現況與未來 文、圖／陳政雄、陳柏宗 公元2015年是「長期照顧十年計畫」擴大服務對象及健全長期服務資源網絡的最後一年，為了銜接「長期照護保險法」作準備，必須徹底改變照顧服務的內涵。 公元1993年，台灣進入「高齡化社會」。24年後的公元2017年，65歲以上的老人到達總人口的14%，將邁入「高齡社會」，成為正式的「老人國」。再過8年的公元2025年，就會成為有夠老的「超高齡社會」。而且，公元1949年的台灣戰後嬰兒潮世代，於公元2014年開始退休，老年人口將由公元2015年的276萬人增加到公元2025年的475萬人。台灣老年人口數的急速增加，使得長期照顧的需求更為迫切。 |
