Architecture, A Business Should Not Regard for Profit and Status

An architecture firm is driven by the staff’s will and strategies, and good judgement in establishing a unique practice. Being bold and optimistic is necessary, and never forget to insist on one’s right to interpret architecture.

在臺灣執業的建築師，根據筆者的整理分析，40至60歲以上的百分比約將近佔83.94％（40歲、50歲、60歲以上，分別為26.16％、29.44％、28.34％），所以得知臺灣執業建築師主要分佈在這年齡區間，也間接證實建築師養成的成熟期大約在50歲左右；這個題目由我們這群世代（50至60歲的世代）來談交替課題應屬恰當。

談交替之前，先要提到1998年4月中華民國建築師公會全國聯合會雜誌第280期，在社長陳邁建築師構思下所做的一個特輯：「臺灣建築新生代」。
