A Decade in the Making: The Art Museum Among the Reeds

By the banks of the Dahan River, a building free ofsuffocation finally rises. The New Taipei City Art Museum wins the 2025 Taiwan Architecture Award,inscribing a gentle reflection on high culture and apromise of art amid the wild reeds.

《得獎感言∣Acceptance Speech》

姚仁喜｜大元建築工場謹以誠摯的心情，感謝臺灣建築獎評審委員，將2025年首獎授予新北市美術館」一案。此一肯定，對我們而言，不僅是對建築成果的認可，更是對長時間公共文化實踐的鼓舞。

新北市美術館，這座位於大漢溪邊、林口台地山腳下三鶯新生地的「蘆葦中的美術館」，歷經十年終於現身，為我們帶來許多榮耀與欣喜。

2025年5月1日，姚仁喜｜大元建築工場步入第40年，而新北市美術館專案也正好在此年份獲得多項國內外殊榮。

回顧專案起點，2014年11月，我們獨立領隊，整合國內外專業顧問團隊，投入競爭激烈的國際競圖。最終能夠脫穎而出，對我們而言，是一次以當代建築語彙與技術，重新詮釋在地文化、場域特色與公共生活可能性的實踐機會。
