2014 UIA Durban Conference, South Africa

National Association of Architects participated in the Union International Architects under the framework of UNISCO, following the mode as Chinese Taipei in World Games and APEC.

中華民國全國建築師公會以中華臺北（Chinese Taipei），我國參加世運會及APEC會議的模式，於2014年８月７日，正式成為與聯合國基金會（UNISCO）休戚相關的國際建築師聯盟（Union International Architects）的會員國。

緣由及會前準備
今年是UIA第26屆會員大會。中華民國全國建築師公會第二次派員參加。大會是在南非（South Africa）的德班（Durban）舉行。
UIA的,中文為「國際建築師聯盟」，它是屬於NGO（非政府組織），但是與聯合國文教基金會（UNISCO）緊緊扯在一起，幾乎是聯合國文教基金會之下，國際建築師的唯一組織，我們常會見到UNISCO/UIA的各種國際活動及聲名，所以非常受到全球重視。
