Localism of Taiwanese Architecture

Taipei 101, Palace Museum, Grand Hotel and CKS Memorial Hall are the only architecture impressing visitors in Taipei, it indicates that over the past forty years, architecture in Taiwan has not advanced.

建築設計是一個非線性的綜整性過程。為了解建築的形成，許多設計方法論在探索及分析設計黑盒子裡的可知部分，即是外顯的理性部份。與設計者個人有關，感性的、抽象的，是黑盒子裡無法系統化的內隱部分，也常是設計的創意所在。

更清楚的討論設計行為，每一棟建築都具有兩個必要條件：功能與基地。前者內容可以是重覆的，但後者確是唯一：地球上任何基地都是獨一無二的。
